Pullin' for Sue

There's a valley in Southeastern Minnesota and it seems Sue has found it. This blog is a place for friends and family to keep track of Sue's progress and also a place where prayers and concerns can be posted for Sue. Please check back often for updates and sign Sue's guest book.

February Update

I have been told that I don't update this site enough (my relatives in Albert Lea). Well hello to all of you. What have I been up to???? I received a surprise visit from a childhood friend. She was visiting from Arizona. Thanks Kathy Becker (Hershey) for your visit it was so nice to catch up. Then the next day Ed and I were able to travel to Arizona with our dear friends the Hanson's, Toomey's, Holly and her guy Steve. We had such a wonderful time. Because my platelets were to low before I left, I wasn't able to have treatment that week. That turned out to be such a blessing. Because I felt so good while in Arizona, and was able to enjoy each and every day. I praised God everyday for this opportunity to see another place, experience laughter, friendships, and the sites of a new/warm state. It was so nice to get away, thanks Dennis and Linda for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Once back, I was healthy enough to start treatment again. After January's treatment, I wasn't looking forward to Feb 14 thru the 18th chemo treatments. But thanks to the good doctors they tried new meds with the treatments and that help me thru. I am happy to report this month's treatment went very well. Other than the usual nausea and being very, very tried it went very well.

Kathy S(ticket lady) email me as I have tried to reach you and haven't been able to. I hope your surgery went well and your doing well!!!!

I'll try to be better with updates. Love to all!!!!
God bless and guide

Latest MRI result

Hi to all, thanks for visting my site and keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers. We are so humbled by the out pouring of support and love from everyone. We are so richly blessed because of all of you in our lives.

My MRI from 1/29/07 shows once again NO recurance of the tumor from the naked eye. Thanks again for your prayers. Maybe the good LORD is saying all right, I'll let her stay longer. In any cause my life is in his hands and his will be done, not mine. I have told several of you that at first with my diagnoise. I was preparing for death (I am not even sure I realized that until a week ago). Now for the first time, I am darning to dream to live, to make plans, and have a purpose once again. God bless and guide, love to all.
