Pullin' for Sue

There's a valley in Southeastern Minnesota and it seems Sue has found it. This blog is a place for friends and family to keep track of Sue's progress and also a place where prayers and concerns can be posted for Sue. Please check back often for updates and sign Sue's guest book.

Great Day at Target Field

(This is a "guest writer" post by Todd - husband of Sue's sister Nancy)

Nancy and I had the pleasure of joining Sue and Ed for the Twins game mentioned in the Post Bulletin article in an earlier post.

I took a bunch of pictures which can be viewed by clicking here . You can see it was a beautiful day and the stadium exceeded everyone's expectations. Our seats were excellent along the left field foul line and in the sun.

We ran into Sue and Nancy's cousin, LeAnn and her husband Scott at the game.

Later in the game, a friend of the Hruska's from Rochester, John, brought us all into the suites upstairs and also gave us a "behind the scenes" tour of the new ball park.

All in all it was a great day. As the game wound down, we were glad to take our seats on the Light Rail for the ride back to our car in Bloomington. Sue used the 30 minute ride to catch up on some sleep.

It was awesome to be there and experience this with Sue. Her journey has been a constant example to us of determination, selflessness, and faith.

This wasn't the first time at the Twins with Sue and Ed - we had these seats behind home plate at the Dome about 7 years ago......

Sue and Ed, We loved the PB article and all the Twins pics on your web site. Thinking of all of you this wedding weekend. Saw the beautiful engagement picture of Drew and Keeley too. We are so happy and excited for them. Our prayers continue to be with you and you continue to be an inspiration to us. God bless.
