Update from home
I have been home recovering since Wednesday, and I am feeling good. There is no place like home. I am getting plenty of rest,. I can not write anymore about me until I share and grieve with so many the loss of Kelly Swee on Monday. While I was preparing for surgery, Kelly lost the battle of brain cancer at the age of 40. She was the mother of 2 young boys, wife of an incredible man and friend to so many of us. I have heard many times of my strength, but let me tell you, I never stood a candle to her strength. To know her was a great blessing to my life. We have lost several dear friends, Elise, Greg, Mike, Fred,Kelly) this year. I will continue their fight as they will be with me always.
I don't know where to start or say thanks any more. It seems way to simple, for what you have all done for me. First Ed your love and support is what keeps me grounded. Holly, Drew, Steve, Keeley you have know idea of the joy you give me daily. Barb, Ashley, Steve, Holly thanks for decorating the house for Christmas, it is beautiful and helped us out so much. To all my family, and friends who came to support me, to all of you who followed the blog (special thanks to Hol), to all who wrote me notes. You you can not imagine the joy I feel to read all your encouragement to me and our family.
Have a few weeks before we meet with radiology and Oncology to see when we begin the next round. God keeps us strong and we are not wasting one day being sad, or worried. That to us is a waste of time and energy. We have today and we will enjoy it. We are now up to visitors and calls. Thanks for giving us time to settle in.
God's blessing today and always
Love always Sue

Sue,
I was so stunned to hear of your recurrence. You looked GREAT at the walk, still do even post op! My family and I are all rooting for you, so keep fighting! You're right, we have lost far too many this year. Keep being our inspiration!

Hi Sue,
We are so happy to hear you are resting comfortably at home. We have had you in our thoughts and prayers all week. Every time the sun peeked through our windows this week I thought of you and hoped that you were able to experience the beauty of the sun shining in on you.
You continue to be an inspiration to all of us. You're amazing!
We'll call soon.
Love ya,
Nancy and Dan
Sue,
I could hardly believe it when I heard that they found something again, but I know that if anyone can beat this, it's you! You are such an amazing, positive individual and you have more strength than anyone can dream of; the strong support of Ed, Holly, Drew and the rest of your family give you that extra boost of energy that can't be beat. Everyone needs to learn from people like you; experiences you have had help to put everything else into perspective. You've definitely shared the message to live each day to its fullest. We will think of you often and pray for your continued treatments.

Dear Sue,
You are an amazing, beautifully spirited, and inspirational woman as witnessed by your recent profound postings:
"It has been amazing to me to have learned that I am not sad by what I may not see or experience. But how very grateful I am for what I have already had." "God keeps us strong and we are not wasting one day being sad, or worried. That to us is a waste of time and energy. We have today and we will enjoy it."
You are also a gift to all who have been fortunate enough to have enjoyed your company. You’re a symbol of strength, the power of a positive attitude, compassion and passion for your fellow man, and strong faith. We all have learned and benefitted from your insights, and are affected by your plight. Sue, you have an amazing family and a vast circle of friends and supporters which is a tribute to yourself. You are a miracle woman, and I pray you have the supreme strength and focus to eradicate this disease from your body.

Hi Sue -
We are so glad to hear you're home where you can rest. I hope that you can enjoy the beauty of having your home decorate for the Holidays and I always find it so uplifting to listen to the wonderful music during this season. You are the toughest little woman I think I've ever met!! You can do this as you've done it before -it's that positive attitude of yours!! Love ya - Corey, Annette and kids
