A New Year
2008 what a blessing to ring in other New Year. I was diagnosed Sept of 2006, I didn't dare to image 2008. I feel so blessed and humbled to have spent another Christmas with loved ones. I also am thankful for all of the Christmas cards and pictures we received, sorry I didn't get one to all of you. However if you read these posting's I am thinking you have to be getting sick of hearing about us and seeing our mugs.
Yesterday I had another MRI, it was clean, negative, no sign of recurrence. By the grace of God and all our prayer's I am here today. I can not begin to thank all of you for your support, prayers and friendships. I haven't kept up with all of you as you know. It all just got so overwhelming, and I long to just be one of the crowd again soon.
I will head back to work on Monday (Lord please bless my co workers with a lot of patience). I have a lot to relearn. My Dr tells me I should be prepared to be mentally and physically tried by the end of the day. If it doesn't get better I will have to look into some training at the TBI ( Traumatic Brian Injury's) center at St. Mary's. He reminds me that I have had Brian surgery. If I have problems there are options, and other things I can do to help me "tune up my Brian". (Wish I knew that years ago!!!!) I am so blessed to be going back to a wonderful group of co worker's. They have been like family for many year's. That gives me great comfort, at a exciting and scary time for me.
Fifteen months ago I was told to go and live life and I have. I have had many journey's and met many fighting their own. I have learned whatever comes to you don't be afraid (waste of energy), pray for guidance (we never have to be alone), find what we are to have learned, never take a day for granted, and find good in each day.
Love always and forever
God bless
Sue
